Now Terraria 1.4 finally went live on both these platforms worldwide from October 20, 2020.
There has always been a lot of improvements on iOS and Android Terraria every since its release. Re-Logic made the announcement that the massive Journey’s End content update is going to come to the mobile platform this week. Just about everything added in The Calamity Mod is much harder than the vanilla experience, though. In the vanilla game, bosses are faced sporadically and things are more peaceful than they are not. The Calamity Mod is an impressive mod that fundamentally changes how Terraria is played. Previously, mods have only been available from external modding sites, with tModLoader being a universally used tool. You can download tModLoader for free on Steam, and Steam Workshop support will be added in the future to bring Terraria mods to Steam for the first time. The mod adds over 80 new pets based on the mod’s content, several mounts, critters, and an assortment of other vanity items. Hypera Calamity’s Vanities is a vanity mod created by Hypera and currently owned by YuH, with sprites, code, and designs from various other contributors. If you attempt to migrate them now they will break or disappear! Who made the calamity mod? Stay tuned… Kind reminder that 1.4 saves are NOT support in TML yet due to how 1.4 Terraria changes saves. tModLoader (TML) is a free modding tool that is developed by the TML team and released by them as a standalone program, and can also be obtained on Steam as Terraria DLC. TModLoader-Only Content: This information applies only to the tModLoader version of Terraria. To manually install mod files, download the mod from its respective place, open the Terraria mod file by opening the game and clicking Workshop > Use Resource Packs then hit Open Folder at the bottom right. Enable the Calamity mod through the in-game client after you’ve downloaded it. Download the Calamity mod through their official download site here. It’ll launch a slightly older version of Terraria, 1.3. With it you can search and install mods from the menu, simplifying a lot of the modding process. The officially supported modloader tModloader is on Steam. After that, you can download the files of the app version you want. To install tModLoader, make sure that you have installed the vanilla game on your device, and that you ran it at least once.
